Israel's ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, blamed Iran for the attack on the Israeli-owned MV Helios Ray carrier-ship in the Gulf of Oman.
"Israel has repeatedly warned the Security Council against Iranian subversion in the Middle East and around the world. The attack in the Gulf attack once again that the regime in Tehran continues to act in any way to destabilize the region in violation of the decisions made by the Security Council as well as international law," wrote Erdan.
