Israel sees 4,142 new virus cases, half of newly sick teens, children

Israel on Thursday posted 4,142 new daily coronavirus cases diagnosed a day earlier, with half of newly infected appear to be below the age of 20.
The Health Ministry said they had conducted over 80,000 tests on Wednesday, placing the contagion rate at 5.2%, a slight increase from the same figure reported a day earlier.
The ministry said 50.1% of newly diagnosed are teenagers and children, while only 5.4% are over the age of 60.
