Israel's ambassador to the United States and the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, slammed Thursday the decision of the International Court of Justice in The Hague to investigate Israel for alleged war crimes.
"This is a shameful and insane decision that Israel will act against with all the tools at its disposal. A decision that could change many things here that we have seen in recent years," said Erdan. "This decision is driven by hate for Israel and is playing into the hands of terrorist organizations."
"I think that every democracy in the world should be concerned, as it means that the hands of all of us will be bound in the fight against terrorist organizations that are not bound by international law."
