Security stop armed man trying to enter Jewish school in Marseille

|
A man wielding a knife tried to enter a Jewish school in the southern French city of Marseille and was stopped by security who overpowered and arrested him, French media reported on Friday.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Jewish Agency Chairman Isaac Herzog said in response that "anti-Semitism and the danger posed to Jewish life is not over with the coronavirus pandemic that paralyzed the world. The incident in Marseille is a warning for anti-Semitism that is simmering beneath the surface, and is just waiting to erupt with the end of the crisis and travel restrictions between the countries."
