Israel has seen more than 500 kindergartens close due to exposure by staff and children to COVID-19, a teachers' union said Sunday.
"Parents are sending their children [to kindergarten] knowing they may be exposed to a carrier of the virus," said Anat Dadon, director of the union's pre-school branch.
"We have not seen so many kindergartens forced to close and staff and children made to quarantine since the start of the pandemic," she said.
