The IDF said Wednesday that an investigation has shown a soldier belonging to the commando Egoz Unit whose weapon was stolen from him during a training exercise behaved properly during the incident and did all that he could to prevent the theft.
The military said a probe showed the soldier fought strongly against several assailants who accosted him and there was no failure in his conduct, given the circumstances.
