The government Sunday night extend the Shin Bet security service's cellphone contact tracing of coronavirus carriers by two weeks while also reducing some of its authorities.
The service will be shut down once the number of daily patients drops under 1,000 or if Shin Bet tracking detects less than 5% of all new patients across the span of three weeks.
