Coronavirus czar Prof. Nachman Ash said Monday that Israel is expected to return to normalcy "when it arrives at 7 million vaccinated citizens," which he added is expected around the summertime.
Regarding the upcoming Passover holiday, Ash said that no special restrictions are expected to be in place, but that families should keep festivities to a minimum of 20 people indoors and 50 outdoors.
Commenting on reports that Health Ministry DG Prof. Hezi Levi is set to soon retire from his post, and his name being brought up as a potential replacement, Ash said that he "spokes with Prof. Levi who denied this, and I hope he will continue at his post."
However, he said that if the position will open in the future, he might put his name in.
