Israel posts 2,003 new virus cases, 2.4% infection rate

Israel on Tuesday posted 2,003 new coronavirus cases diagnosed a day earlier, with infection rate standing at 2.4%.
The Health Ministry said that 58,500 tests had been conducted on Monday.
At least 601 patients are hospitalized in serious condition, of whom 211 are ventilated. The official death toll now stands at 6,037.
