German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier Tuesday praised Israel's coronavirus vaccination drive, saying there is "much to learn from it."
His statements came following a meeting with President Reuven Rivlin and IDF chief Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, who are in the midst of a diplomatic tour in Europe.
The two presidents also talked about various security issues such as Iran and Hezbollah.
"Germany today shows an extraordinary commitment to the security of the State of Israel, and to maintaining stability in the Middle East. We are full of appreciation for that," Rivlin said following the meeting.
