Court rules no more limitations on Israelis allowed to enter country each day

|
The Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that the government could not limit the amount of Israelis allowed to enter the country daily.
Ministers agreed to limit the number of daily arrivals in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus variants that could be brought in by people infected abroad.
"The limitations on arrivals or departures are in violation of basic law," the judges ruled and ordered them lifted as of Sunday unless new limitations are instituted.
