Central Elections Committee Director General Orly Ades warned on Thursday of attempts to delegitimize the results of the upcoming March 23 polls.
"There are attempts to delegitimize the results of the elections," Ades told Ynet's sister publication Yedioth Ahronoth in an interview. "It started at the end of the elections for the 22nd Knesset, grew after the elections to the 23rd Knesset, and we've been also seeing this over the past few weeks."
Ades sent out a message to those promoting claims of election improprieties, chief among them Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's eldest son, Yair, and called their allegations "bizarre and unfounded."
She also called on the public "to be smart to filter out the unreliable information."
