The Health Ministry reported Friday evening 1,229 cases of coronavirus have been detected out of some 65,000 tests conducted in the previous 24 hours, meaning 1.9% of all tests yielded a positive result.
There were 557 coronavirus patients hospitalized in serious condition, 202 of them were connected to ventilators.
