The number of coronavirus patients in serious condition continues to decrease and now stands at 499. This is the first time since December 21 that the country's number of seriously ill patients is below 500.
According to the Health Ministry, 942 new coronavirus cases were diagnosed Monday. With a total of 57,000 tests performed, Israel's contagion rate now stands at 1.6% - thanks in part to the country's vaccination campaign, which has fully inoculated 4.6 million Israelis.
