After 70% of votes counted Likud under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has won 31 Knesset seats while Yesh Atid under Lapid won 18.
Netanyahu needs the seven seats won by Yamina led by his former Defense Minister Naftali Bennett in order to reach the 61 seat majority needed to form a right-wing coalition government.
