Defense Minister Benny Gantz and his Blue & White party were on Wednesday were estimated to win eight seats in the next Knesset after 70% of votes cast in Tuesday's election were counted.
During the months leading up to the ballot, Blue & White was considered to be too close to the minimum electoral threshold in polls.
