The Health Ministry on Wednesday said that 442 cases of coronavirus were confirmed on on Tuesday after 44,746 tests conducted, indicating a 1.0% positivity rate.
There are 396 people in serious condition being treated for COVID-19 in hospitals with 202 of them on ventilators.
Since the start of the pandemic, 6,201 people have succumbed to the virus.
