New Hope Chairman Gideon Saar on Tuesday rebuffed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's request to form a right-wing government together.
"I will fulfill my commitment to my voters. I will not join or support a government headed by Netanyahu," Saar said.
Saar added that Netanyahu addressed him "on the very day that him and his people once again began spreading perverted and false conspiracy theories against myself as well as President Reuven Rivlin. The continued tenure of Netanyahu, who prefers his personal interests over the state's, harms Israel."
