Smotrich refuses to talk to Netanyahu after Ra'am speech

Religious Zionist Party Chairman Bezalel Smotrich refused to talk to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday after Ra'am leader Mansour Abbas gave a televised address to the nation in which he called for Jewish-Arab cooperation.
According to sources close to Smotrich, the Religious Zionist leader is angry about what he believes was Netanyahu vouching for Ra'am, a party he said, "supports terrorism and opposes the definition of the State of Israel as a Jewish state."
