Religious Zionist Party Chairman Bezalel Smotrich refused to talk to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday after Ra'am leader Mansour Abbas gave a televised address to the nation in which he called for Jewish-Arab cooperation.
According to sources close to Smotrich, the Religious Zionist leader is angry about what he believes was Netanyahu vouching for Ra'am, a party he said, "supports terrorism and opposes the definition of the State of Israel as a Jewish state."
