The Arab Ra'am party, headed by Mansour Abbas, said Saturday the faction is still undecided on which candidate to recommend to the president to form a new government.
A senior party official said Ra'am members are not in a hurry to make the decision.
"We are waiting to see what will happen between [Bezalel] Smotrich and [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu before making the decision. We also do not rule out a possibility of recommending [Yair] Lapid. This atmosphere might lead to a fifth election."
