Former CEO of Walla news website Ilan Yeshua, the first prosecution witness in the corruption trial of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, testifies that he received multiple WhatsApp messages from the Prime Minister's Office regarding news items that must be posted or removed from the site.
"If you put all the messages other politicians sent me together over a ten-year period, they would not equal the amount of requests from the prime minister and his wife during one week," Yeshua said on the witness stand.
"Politicians comment on our content but do not try to edit our news site from A to Z," he said.
