Palestinian President Abbas flies to Germany for medical examination

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas left Ramallah on Monday onboard a Jordanian Airforce chopper on his way to Germany for what has been described as routine medical examinations. The president was operated on in Germany in 2019.
Abbas was scheduled to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel during his stay.
