Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit decided on Tuesday to prosecute former MK Haneen Zoabi on offenses of forgery and fraud.
Zoabi — along with about 35 other suspects, including former officials in the Balad party — is suspected of submitting falsified documents to the State Comptroller during the general and local elections in 2013.
