Education Minister Yoav Galant called for the widespread reopening of the entire education system, a few hours after Health Minister Yuli Edelstein announced an outline according to which capsule learning will be canceled in fourth grade.
"Enough of divided classes and distance learning - the time has come to open up the education system fully," Galant wrote. "The emotional, educational and social risk is now tens of times higher than the health risk. I will work to persuade the Prime Minister and my colleagues in the coronavirus cabinet to support the removal of all restrictions by this coming Sunday."
