President Reuven Rivlin said Thursday that we "must not allow the passage of time threaten the memory [of the Holocaust].
He was speaking at the closing ceremony for Holocaust Remembrance Day at Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta'ot, whose founders were survivors.
"Even in days were racist, dark, xenophobic movements step into the halls of power, we will make our voice heard, a voice of hope, a voice of belief, a voice of Jewish tradition exclaiming 'Beloved is man for he was created in the image [of God].'"
