The Health Ministry reported 209 new cases of coronavirus out of 42,982 tests conducted in the previous 24 hours, putting the country's positivity rate at 0.5%.
There were 276 COVID-19 patients in serious condition across the country's hospitals, 155 of which were connected to ventilators.
So far, 5,304,870 people in Israel have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine while 4,911,808 have also got the second booster shot.
