The Israel Air Force (IAF) attacked several targets belonging to Hamas in the Gaza Strip in response to rocket fire launched from the Palestinian enclave towards Israeli territory, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said on Friday.
The sites in question include an arms production facility, an arms-smuggling tunnel and a Hamas military post in Gaza.
The Islamist terrorist group fired a rocket Thursday night that exploded in an open area near the city of Sderot. No injuries or damage were reported.
