Israel sees full day without COVID deaths for first time in ten months

For the first time in ten months, Israel recorded no COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday and the national coronavirus-related death toll remained at 6,346 since the onset of the pandemic in the country.
The Health Ministry reported 129 new coronavirus cases were detected out of over 35,000 tests conducted Thursday.
There were 160 Israelis hospitalized with the virus in serious condition, 97 of them were connected to ventilators.
Earlier Thursday, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein announced that over 5,000,000 Israelis have already received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
