Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital asked the Health Ministry to fly a medical delegation to India following the state's request for assistance in dealing with the raging coronavirus pandemic there.
"To me this is the right and moral thing to do at this time," said the hospital's director and former coronavirus czar, Prof. Ronnie Gamzu. "It is impossible to celebrate life when corpses are being cremated on the other side of the world."
