The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported Tuesday that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has told the European Union, Jordan and Egypt of his decision to postpone the Palestinian parliamentary elections.
According to the report, the postponement is due to Israel's refusal to hold the ballots in East Jerusalem.
