The condition of Itzik Saidyan, an IDF veteran who set himself alight, has stabilized and is now described as "very serious", a hospital said Wednesday.
Last week, officials at Sheba Medical Center where he is treated said his condition has deteriorated and his life was in "imminent danger".
Saidyan, 26, set himself on fire two days before Memorial Day inside offices of the Defense Ministry's Rehabilitation Department in Petah Tikva over years-long disability battle.
