Internationally acclaimed Israeli fashion designer Alber Elbaz, who died from COVID-19 in Paris on Saturday at the age of 59, was laid to rest Wednesday afternoon in Holon.
Elbaz's coffin arrived in Israel on Wednesday morning. He was buried beside his parents in the central city's cemetery.
A memorial service for Elbaz will be held in Paris on June 12, which would have been his 60th birthday.
