Health Ministry: Arrivals from 'dangerous' countries to enter isolation

|
Director General of the Ministry of Health Prof. Hezi Levi on Thursday signed an order, according to which returnees from Ukraine, Ethiopia, Brazil, South Africa, India, Mexico and Turkey will enter compulsory isolation upon their return, even if they have been inoculated or have recovered from COVID.
Israel recently published a travel warning advisory that includes the seven countries, due to their extremely high infection rates there and the discovery of several variants that health officials fear will prove resistant to the vaccine.
