Palestinian shot on West Bank in attempted stabbing attack, police says

A Palestinian man was shot on Friday after attempting to stab a soldier and a police officer near the West Bank settlement of Efrat, a police spokesperson said.
The assailant was given medical treatment at the scene before being transported to the Shaarei Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem in serious condition.
