Justice Minister Benny Gantz on Monday instructed his ministry to work towards forming a state commission of inquiry into last week's deadly Meron disaster, which will be submitted later for government approval.
Gantz's move comes shortly after Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit announced there was no legal obstacle that would prevent the current caretaker government from launching a state inquiry into the tragedy.
