Likud MK Miki Zohar, who will remain at the head of the Knesset Arrangements Committee until Midnight on Tuesday said he will table a bill changing Israel's election laws to enable a direct vote for prime minister, a move that would benefit Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
With less than 12 hours remaining before Netanyahu's mandate to form a government expires, Zohar said he plans to advance a number of bills to advance the right-wing agenda.
