Most of Joint List to recommend Lapid to form government

Five out of six Joint List MKs Wednesday recommended to President Reuven Rivlin that Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid be tasked with forming a government.
MK Sami Abu Shehadeh, the head the Balad sub-faction, is not expected to recommend anyone.
With 56 recommendations, Lapid is the leading candidate to receive the mandate.
