Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Friday that "the struggle against the despicable regime [Israel] is a struggle against oppression and terrorism" and added that it is "a public duty to fight this regime".
The Iranian leader made these remarks in a speech for the country's annual International Quds [Jerusalem] Day which is held on the last Friday of Ramadan and was initiated by the Islamic Republic to express support for the Palestinians and oppose Zionism and Israel.
