Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai visited the shooting scene in the northern West Bank where three terrorists were shot by Border Police forces, killing two of them, after they opened fire at a base.
Shabtai commended the officers and said that according to police estimates, they have managed to thwart a mass-casualty attack on Israeli population centers. He called to bolster police presence in crowded areas across the country and along the border to prevent illegal infiltration of Palestinians.
