Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Saturday that Israel is "acting responsibly" to maintain law and order in Jerusalem after a night of violent clashes between Israeli police and Palestinians on Temple Mount.
"Israel is acting responsibly to ensure law and order in Jerusalem, while also maintaining freedom of worship in the holy places," Netanyahu said after a security meeting with Defense Minister Benny Gantz and other high-profile defense officials.
