Rosh HaAyin man suspected of synagogue arson

A 40-year-old man from the central city of Rosh HaAyin has been detained on suspicion of setting fire to a synagogue in Bnei Brak at the weekend.
The fire caused massive damage, including to the Torah scrolls in the synagogue.
The suspect has been remanded in custody for three days.
