Amid continued rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Monday vowed a forceful response against Hamas, which he said had "crossed a red line."
"Israel will respond with great force," he said. "We will not tolerate attacks on our territory, our capital, our citizens, or our soldiers."
Netanyahu added that the current round of fighting may last for "some time."
