Defense Minister Benny Gantz asked the government Wednesday to expand the state of emergency on the Home Front by two weeks, which will include all communities in an 80 km radius from the Gaza Strip.
The Defense Ministry said the measure was made over the IDF's intention to expand its attacks in the enclave and security assessments.
