Hamas official: Israel told us to stop firing first

Mousa Mohammed Abu Marzook, a Hamas official residing in Qatar, told the New York Times Tuesday that the terror group was ready for a ceasefire, but was demanded by Israel to stop firing first for several hours - after which it would be decided whether to stop the fighting altogether.
Abu Marzook also said that Qatar was involved in mediating talks.
