IDF said on Tuesday that in its overnight strikes on Gaza, the underground tunnel system or "metro" was targeted over 25 minutes, by 52 sorties that dropped 122 bombs over 12 kilometers (7.45 miles) of tunnels where rocket launchers were being kept.
The military said in its evaluation dozens of Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists were killed in Khan Yunis and Raffah, where rockets were launched.
