U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke with Foreign Affairs Minister Gabi Ashkenazi Thursday morning urging him to seek calm to hostilities with Gaza terrorist factions which "claimed the lives of Israeli and Palestinian civilians, including children."
According to U.S. State Department, Blinken "reinforced the message that the U.S. expects to see de-escalation on the path to a ceasefire."
