Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Sunday condemned the calls of incitement made against Yamina chairman Naftali Bennett and party member Ayelet Shaked, for their alleged willingness to join Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid in forming a government without Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"The State of Israel still carries with it the scars born from the cruel price of incitement. The calls against Bennett and Shaked, no matter which political path they choose - are dangerous, destructive and anti-democratic," said Gantz. "I call on all public leaders to condemn them. We will not allow incitement to rear its head."
