Defense Minister Benny Gantz met with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Washington. At the meeting, Ganz presented the need for a change in policy in the Gaza Strip and stressed the immediate need to strengthen the moderate alliance and the Palestinian Authority.
Gantz also raised with Blinken the issue of the Israeli abductees and the bodies of the soldiers held in Gaza, as a condition for the rehabilitation of the Strip, and presented the need to deepen supervision on Iran.
