Russian President Vladimir Putin offered his congratulations to Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Monday.
"Russia and Israel have traditionally enjoyed a friendly relationship. I hope that your work as the head of government will facilitate further development of constructive bilateral cooperation between our countries across all areas. This undoubtedly serves the core interests of our nations and is in line with the course for strengthening peace, security and stability in the Middle East," Putin said in a statement released by the Kremlin.
