Ra'am's Abbas slams Jerusalem far-right march as 'provocation'

Ra'am leader Mansour Abbas categorically condemned on Tuesday the decision to hold a Jewish nationalist parade, dubbed the Flag March, in predominately Palestinian East Jerusalem.
The march is "an unbridled provocation, the essence of which is shouts of hatred and incitement to violence and an attempt to set the area on fire for political purposes," he said, adding that Public Security Minister Omer Bar-Lev and the police should have pulled the plug on the event.
The fresh coalition member also claimed the march was part of a campaign the rip the new loosely knit government asunder through repeated goading,
"There is no doubt that the organizers' goal is to challenge the new government, exhaust it in a series of explosive events in the near future, and take us back to an unnecessary escalation that will endanger human lives."
